My city based client, in the heart of the financial district requires a creative artworker to join a busy design and print team.

The ideal individual will require a strong understanding of layout and typography, be comfortable producing high quality visuals and accurate print-ready artwork to brand guidelines. There will be the opportunity to work across a diverse array of projects from press and outdoor advertising to direct mail packs, and much more. The role asks for creative solutions from time to time, so you will need to possess an imaginative flair.

This is a terrific opportunity for someone who is keen to learn and refine their skills. This is a hugely varied role, with the key responsibilities including:

Setting artwork for print, to include:
- Brochures
- Sales aids
- Direct mail packs
- Magazines
- Newsletters
- Advertising:
- Tabloid
- Broadsheet
- Large format 48 and 96 sheets
- Taxi design

Skills required
- Mac based
- Proven experience within a similar role
- Print & reprographic knowledge
- Creative thinker
- Very organised
- Be able to deal with a fast-paced environment
- Experienced in following brand guidelines
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- A strong communicator with robust interpersonal skills
- To keep a cool head under pressure
- Great team player, working with many departments within the company
- Confident and assertive
- Self-motivated
- Use initiative

Software
- InDesign CS5.5 (you must be fluent in this)
- Illustrator CS5.5 (you must be fluent in this)
- Acrobat CS5.5
- Photoshop CS5.5
- Flash CS5.5 (An understanding of the software would be beneficial)
- Quark XPress 7 (Not a core application used within the team)
- Microsoft - Word, Power point and Excel
