An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a large blue chip company in Lincolnshire as an Ecommerce Merchandiser. The successful candidate will work closely with the Ecommerce Trading Manager and collaborate with the Ecommerce and Business Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for placement and performance measurement of product ranges on the company's website, monitoring commercial proposition in context of industry activity, providing commercial and analytical support to the Ecommerce Department and making contributions to the sales growth strategy of the company's Ecommerce. Responsibilities will include: Producing a weekly product sales report, analysing relevant web KPI’s and analysing and reporting on product bundles. You will also proactively interrogate sales and analytical data, monitor product pricing, conduct periodic competitive reviews, monitor competitor tactical activity, contribute to range reviews and analyse and review peak performance and present key findings to the Ecommerce Trading Manager. You will be responsible for nominating to the Marketing team products for on-line marketing activity, including newsletters; direct mail and other campaigns, maintaining the product element of the Ecommerce marketing plan, contributing to consumer group marketing planning by sharing key commercial information in order to shape activity. Other duties will include: Dealing directly with key suppliers on pricing and promotional activity, negotiating cost prices and placement where onsite/marketing activities will impact volumes and assisting the Ecommerce Trading Manager to develop a strategic programme of promotions. The successful candidate will have broad knowledge of and substantial experience in a retail trading environment/online shopping as well as experience of product forecasting and Sales patterns, management information and reporting systems, posess excellent numerical and negotiation skills, experience of CMS systems. You will have proven exoperience of working within a commercial environment with the ability to learn and and use various reporting interfaces and databases You will also be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Possess excellent written and oral skills, analytical skills and sound judgement, accuracy and attention to detail
