A leading Digital Marketing agency is looking for a skilled technical HTML developer, ideally with specific experience creating and building HTML emails, for e-marketing campaigns or newsletters. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HTML developer to work for a leading digital marketing agency. If you live and breathe HTML Development, enjoy trouble shooting and problem solving, understand the concepts behind programming principles and relational databases, and would like to work for a market leading agency, then this is the role for you! The Successful HTML Developer will be responsible for setting up multiformat, multivariable HTML mailings, implementing changes to email proofs and editing HTML code. A strong understanding of the concepts behind relational databases and scripting principles is required. (An appreciation of the following is desirable: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server development experience, ColdFusion, PHP, JSP, ASP, Perl). Familiarity with DreamWeaver and developing HTML for email campaigns or newsletters, as well as a good eye for detail and a general understanding of design principles to support the preparation of mailings and the QA process in a fast-paced production environments would be a plus. You will be working closely with creative services, account teams, data and engineering teams to develop and test dynamic content emails as well as troubleshooting and proactively solving problems. Ideally you will be qualified with a University degree or equivalent in IT, digital media production, multimedia or a related discipline.
