Marketing Assistant - Northamptonshire - Leisure - £18,000
Brand new opportunity with a leading leisure brand in Northamptonshire. This is a wide and varied role and will be responsible for assisting / supporting in all areas of communications and PR including on-site communications and reader offers/competitions, providing functional and Press Office support such as handling media enquiries and issuing press releases.
Key accountabilities:
•Develop relationships and co-operative marketing activities with key partners, including tourism memberships, local bodies and third party opportunities to promote the brand
•Ensure accurate content within third party listings and annuals.
•Provide marketing and PR support to sales team to drive revenue, including exhibitions and events.
•Implement a monitoring, control and reporting process on all marketing and PR activities.
•Understand and support key commercial requirements and financial KPI’s.
•Support development and production of marketing collateral and promotional materials, including control of stock and supplies.
•To work with preferred suppliers and agencies for relevant requirements both promotional and general.
•Develop and monitor relevant market trends across the two regions and beyond.
•Management of invoices process and monitoring to support the marketing budget.
•Support general administration within the office and attend relevant meetings.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a communications and/or PR role
within the leisure, travel or retail sector. Ability to work within a fast paced, commercial and hands-on environment is essential. Flexibility along with a professional, proactive, enthusiastic approach and a willingness to get involved across all functions are all 'must haves'.
